About Us
In this section you will find information on how we run our school including our current staffing structure, governing body and our school policies.
At St Bede’s we are one big happy family, looking after and caring for everyone. We value each child for their individuality and strive to help them become they very best that they can. We believe the development of the child’s self-esteem is paramount to their growth as a fully Christian person. This is the fundamental responsibility of everyone who comes into contact with the child, as is the encouragement of spiritual growth through prayer, worship and example. We hope that the child leaving our school will be a caring, competent and confident member of society.
Children leaving St Bede’s generally go on to attend St Leonard’s Catholic School, Durham or Fyndoune Community College, Sacriston as part of the Durham Federation. Please visit these sites to find out more information.
